Robin Gardner was originally educated to be a teacher, but worked as a computer scientist for 27 years in the Defense world supporting our Warfighters on a wide variety of programs before starting RI Computer Learning Services in 2005.  RICLS owns the Rhode Island franchise for CompuChild USA.  CompuChild has been dedicated since 1994 to providing technology education to young children to prepare them for academic success.  RICLS and CompuChild USA combine the best parts of her previous experience. She is patient with all her students, both young and young-at-heart, answers all their questions, and strives to ensure that every student achieves success. 

In addition, she is a member of:

• The Newport County Chamber of Commerce (member of the Membership Services Committe and recipient of the 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year Award)
  

• National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and it's Ocean State affiliate, BrightStars
