Are you dealing with food allergies at your house?

Fri, 04/23/2010 — Robin

Ok. Before I tell you about this, I should tell you that I don't have an iPhone, and I've been fortunate that none of my children has a food allergy. BUT I saw this story and immediately thought of parents of children with severe food allergies and the struggles they face when grocery shopping. Perhaps this will help. Check out this online story: http://www.onlineprnews.com/news/32304-1271948664-new-technology-helps-people-avoid-added-sugars.html. If you try it out, please email me and let me know how you like it?

Celebration of Ideas at the 45th Annual RI Early Childhood Conference

Tue, 04/20/2010 — Robin

I'm excited to announce that CompuChild will be represented in this year's Celebration of Ideas display at the 45th Annual RI Early Childhood Conference! Our display will illustrate how technology education also helps children develop literacy skills while they're learning technology skills. Even children who are learning the alphabet can learn to recognize key sight words and know what they mean, which means they're also increasing their vocabulary.

In the past, we've offered:

  • Make a Book Camp
  • Make a Cartoon Camp
  • Make a Comic Book Camp
  • Make a T-Shirt Camp
  • "Guess What!?" Camp, using a digital microscope
  • and more

This summer, we're pleased to offer two new camps:
