You Can't Always Believe What You Hear

Sat, 02/27/2010 — Robin

I wanted to share a recent experience with my adult readers, especially those who are learning and using power tools for the office. There are so many power tools available to use when we use Microsoft® Office applications or OpenOffice and other tools. One of the most commonly used is the merge capability which can really make your life a lot easier and allow you to send messages to people that are personalized just for them – always good in business, right? I’ll get back to that in a minute.

CompuChild USA is excited to be partnering with Great Place to Learn!

Wed, 02/10/2010 — Robin

CompuChild USA is excited to be partnering with Great Place to Learn to offer technology education classes for school-age children!

Many school-agers use a computer for games and visiting popular websites, but know little else about these powerful tools. In our classes, they'll learn the technology they need to accomplish so much more!

Our first unit, beginning Wednesday, March 10th, is an introductory unit, geared towards terminology, hardware, peripherals, operating systems, Internet safety, and more to prepare students with the strong foundation needed to progress. New units will cover a wide variety of skills used in Microsoft® Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel; and more.

New Year! New Opportunities!

Mon, 01/04/2010 — Robin

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope that 2010 brings you wonderful opportunities and experiences.

If you're looking for new skills to help you take advantage of the opportunities facing you, check out our upcoming workshops. They're conducted Saturday mornings in Middletown, and Wednesday evenings in Warwick, and by private arrangement for other small businesses. You won't get lost in a big group in a lecture scenario - we use small group instruction that has long been demonstrated as a great way to learn for both children and adults. There's lots of hands-on practice and individualized help, we bring the equipment, you'll make new friends, and you'll go home with detailed handouts to help you practice on your own after class is finished. What's better than that!?

We're a locally owned and operated small business, dedicated to the best quality technology education for children and adults. We know that if you compare our workshops to others, you'll prefer to learn with us.

Just click on the blue Sign-Ups button to see the current class schedule - we'll see you there!
